Major/Essential Functions

Texas Tech University seeks candidates for a ten! ure-track position in Marketing at the Rawls College of Business beginning Fall 2013.

Qualified applicants must have a Doctorate in Marketing. An emphasis in Supply Chain Management is desired. The position is open to all levels, but a senior assistant professor or higher is preferred.

This position will be responsible for coordinating the Global Supply Chain Management emphasis in the Area of Marketing. We are seeking candidates with an active research program who will publish on a regular basis in quality, peer-reviewed journals.

The successful candidate is also expected to pursue external research funding. In addition, candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and will provide service to the Area, the College, the University and the discipline.

Academic degree as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held. Demonstrated record o! f effectiveness as a teacher, a record of peer reviewed public! ation and/or peer-reviewed creative activity which has contributed to the discipline or field of study, to the candidate’s intellectual and artistic development, and to the quality of the academic enterprise; a record of professional service appropriate to the discipline; promise of growth in teaching and research or artistic and creative activity. This position will be classified as Security Sensitive and require a criminal background check if selected for employment.
