Field-Logic is seeking self-directed and motivated candidates with strong organizational and interpersonal skills who can! work independently in a field-based risk management position.
As a Field-Logic Field Service Specialist you will visit various types of dealers (auto, motorcycle, power equipment, marine, etc.) to perform inventory audits. Inventory audits are performed on behalf of financial institutions who provide financing to the dealers for their inventory. Future responsibilities may include other field-based data collection activities.
Field-Logic offers a comprehensive compensation package including: salary, company vehicle, travel expense reimbursement, paid vacation, medical and dental insurance and 401K.
Overnight travel is required.
Duties
Specific FSS duties include, but are not limited to:
- Visit authorized dealer locations in a defined geographic territory.
- Physically verify the VIN/serial number of inventory units that are In Stock at authorized locations.
- Meet with dealer personnel to identify the whereabou! ts of missing inventory units.
- Visit secondary locati! ons and businesses where inventory is reported and verify its presence.
- Record detailed information about inventory units using the Audit Intelligence software application, which runs on a tablet computer.
- Review and verify the authenticity of documentation for sold, missing and damaged inventory units per customer requirements (i.e., sales, rental, insurance documents).
- Record dealer survey information as needed.
- Review audit results with authorized dealer personnel, and collect payment for sold and missing units.
- Communicate with customer personnel about audit results, issues encountered during an audit and potential risk concerns.
High School diploma, college preferred
Three to five years of applicable work experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Good organizational skills
Comfortable with! using computer applications
Familiarity with tablet computers a plus
Job Requirements
Extensive local travel
Some overnight travel (varies by territory)
Work in outdoor environment year-round
Lift and move boxes
Navigate crowded warehouse facilities
Valid driver’s license required w/proof of insurance
