About the Hospital
This community based acute-care hospital is focused on

About the Position
The Director of Clinical Services â€" Behavioral Health is
responsible for the supervision, coordination and
evaluation of nursing care provided on the as! signed
unit(s). The Director also coordinates and supervis! es
the activities for the unit, which supports the safe and
efficient delivery of care to persons who seek such
service such as: behavioral health assessments, therapy
services and other behavioral health services as deemed
appropriate.
Requires;
1. Education and training in the field of clinical
social work with academic achievement of at least a
Masters degree level in Social Work.
2. Licensed or license eligible in one of the mental
health disciplines in the State of Texas.
3. A minimum of five (5) years experience in the
provision of mental health services
4. Two (2) years of which included supervisory or
administrative responsibility.
5. Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary theory and
practice on the management and treatment of mental
disorders.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Passes and maintains a conviction free criminal
background check.
