More complete informations about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance and direction of the Profit Center. He/she is expected to lead the Profit Center in such a way that specific market share and prof! itability targets are met. He/she is also fully responsible for the development of a world class team of professionals and ensuring that the team operates ethically at all times. The Profit Center Manager has full autonomy to accomplish these goals in the manner he/she sees fit. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Be responsible for the strategic direction of the business â€" define which market segments within the plumbing sector to pursue, define core competencies and value proposition in the market, align vendor relationships with the vision and the organization Be responsible for the entire spectrum of the Profit Centers operation to achieve agreed upon financial metrics including sales growth and customer control Lead, build, and develop high-performing and highly competent teams that are success driven and goal-oriented Research and keep abreast of, local market trends, competition, and initiatives to identify and assess potential opportunities ! Manage the business through monthly analysis of financial repo! rts to determine the Profit Centers performance, making adjustments when necessary Develop strong relationships with key customers and vendors
The ideal Branch Manager must be entrepreneurial, possess business acumen and sales skills. It is imperative that this individual possess an entrepreneurial attitude, outstanding people skills, and be capable of managing people with varying backgrounds.All interested applicants must possess: A college degree - what kind Prior leadership experience - How many years and how many people and in a retail setting or out in the field A track record of high financial performance Decisive decision-making abilities Prior sales experience - how much and what kind The ideal applicant will also possess: Wholesale distribution and/or HVAC experience Profit & loss responsibility People development experience Product knowledge
