Job Overview Summary The Retail Supervisor-Events is responsible for the management of effective, efficient and quality event execution in a designated territory. They are to audit, train and coach Event Specialists on proper team compliance measurements to effectively represent the CROSSMARK Events team.
Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Train Events Specialists on company processes, policies, procedures, and position responsibilities.
  • Ensure quality execution by conducting audits and work-withs of Event Specialists and develop event execution skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and manage expense metrics such as payroll time entries and additional expenses to maximize territory contribution.
  • Manage execution and overall performance of scheduled events by monitoring daily and weekly provided scorecards to ensure the highest level o! f on-date execution is met.
  • Reschedule events as need! ed in a timely manner to maximize our on-date, on weekend and total execution results.
  • Complete field work-withs in assigned stores every 30 days.
  • Responsible for sharing competitive knowledge and best practices with team.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with field support, recruiting, and client services.
  • Submit needed employee requisitions in a timely manner to not disrupt quality execution in the field.
  • Inspect company equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper maintenance.

Work environment: Home Office and field environment. Extensive local travel required.

Physical Abilities

The incumbent assists the Area Director (AD) and Budget Technician (Admin Asst), by providing support in the following areas:

Reviews detailed cost listings issued from NFC to ensure accountability of all revenues and expenditures.

As directed, develops computer reports to track user fee services performed, billed, received, and transmitted to lockbox; delinquent accounts; and appearance of revenue, when revenue appears on the Daily Transaction Report.

Creates computer spreadsheets to produce reports and compile data for various purposes, such as budget, user fee billing, tag lists, accounts receivable and travel.

Exercises considerable judgment i! n interpreting and applying regulations and guidelines to administrative and program activities based on a thorough working knowledge of AMS, Cotton Program, NFC, and other procedural instructions and memoranda.

Assists with administrative problems and recommends solutions relating to personnel, space, property, equipment, and supplies.

Assists and instructs seasonal employees in the use of information technology equipment, including the operation of input terminals, and all automated or computerized equipment.

Maintains a "clean" system by deleting errors and making corrections; deleting and adding records as necessary; assigning specific operations for various specific reports generated by the computer system.

Receives applications for employment; interviews and assists in selection of applicants for seasonal employment; follows established personnel procedures in employment of seasonal classers, HVI operators, laborers, and seasonal fi! eld representatives.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

EDUCATION

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Associates’ degree strongly preferred. Requires knowledge of interviewing techniques, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

Experience: Normally requires a minimum of one year experience, preferably in the hospitality, restaurant or retail industry. Excellent interpersonal skills within one-on-one and meeting in-person situations, as well as proven business writing skills. Requires experience with Microsoft Office Suite and internet usage.

License: You must be a licensed driver with an acceptable driving record.

SKILLS

  • Abi! lity to implement recruitment objectives and identify opportunities to provide internal and external customer service excellence.
  • Ability to review resumes and employment applications to identify skills and work experience which correspond to the position applied.
  • Ability to multi-task between daily work, weekly/monthly deadlines, and objectives for improvement.

We are looking for a Temporary Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in the Lubbock, TX area who will build relationships with our key retail accounts and execute timely and effective product merchandising initiatives across all Hasbro categories.

This is a SEASONAL, PART-TIME hourly position that services stores during DAYTIME hours for approximately 3 months (sometime between October - December). We offer a competitive hourly rate and a per diem for mileage. Specific days and hours are determined on an individual basis, according to the needs of the terri! tory.

This territory requires weekly travel throughout the Lubbock area.

Using your time management skills you will positively impact sales by working as part of a team: implementing in-store promotional activities and point-of-purchase material; performing planogram compliance and achieving on-shelf product merchandising objectives. You will maintain successful account relationships through scheduled store calls and ongoing communication with management teams.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, flexible, can work as part of a team in a busy retail environment and is available to work daytime hours and weekends. Weekend work is required during the months of November and December.

Basic qualifications for the Seasonal Retail Merchandiser position include:

  • Must live in a reasonable proximity of areas listed above due to travel requirements of the position.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prefe! r some experience in a Retail/Merchandising environment in a consumer p! roducts industry
  • Willingness to work daytime hours and weekends
  • Reliable transportation/auto insurance and a valid drivers license
  • Personal access to High Speed/DSL Internet, email and printer with some computer experience
  • Ability to accurately report information by due dates/deadlines
  • Able to climb ladders, lift up to 40 lbs., bending repeatedly and be on your feet 6-8 hours
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
