Network Operations Supervisor (Network / IT)
Job Responsibilities
With your background in IT and Project Management as our Network Operations Supervisor, you will be providing direction and technical leadership for the department network management and telecommunications team from strategic decision making to project planning.
Additional responsibilitie! s include:
Supervising and participating in day-to-day! activities and projects as well as researching new technologies and methodologies to improve the departmentâs ability to provide excellent information services to the organization
Project Management including the assessment
Provide Resource Allocation and Management
Act as a liaison between the leadership team and the IS Department
Overseeing system security, continuity and disaster recovery planning and implementation

Job Requirements
As our Network Operations Supervisor, you must have:
A Bachelorâs Degree or equivalent experience. Industry related certifications are not required, but are preferred (MSCE, CCNA/CCNP, etc.)
5+ years of progressively responsible related experience including two years in a supervisory capacity in an IS or IT department.
Previous leadership and hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Windows Servers, VMware, server blade technolo! gy or Cisco Networking and server technology.
Additional requirements include:
Strong experience in administration of Windows-based server systems, virtual machines, network design and monitoring, and other real-world systems administration concepts
Knowledge of Cisco Networking
Experience with VMware and server blade technology
Strong attention to detail and the ability to see how other initiatives will impact the network/systems team; should have previous change management experience
Strong knowledge of product evaluation with the ability to conduct an enterprise feasibility study and prepare a feasibility/recommendation report appropriate for senior management
Experience in privacy and security principles and best practices, HIPPA experience is particularly helpful
Experience in creating reports and budgets appropriate for upper management review
Ability to help guide team members when they get stuck on a particular issue o! r problem
Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language
! Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service skills and ability to lead team effectively
Current Washington State driverâs license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage
Responsibility breakdown: 50% Team Management, 30% Project Management and 20% Technical Support
