Under direct supervision, perform work in a call center environment. Answer inbound residential calls concerning questions or problems related to Suddenlink video, telephone and high speed data services. Handle routine customer! inquiries regarding service delivery, outages or component level problems. Resolve customer inquiries, while at the same time educating and promoting Suddenlink services in order to improve customer retention. Initiate appropriate action by other Suddenlink departments.
Illustrative Accountabilities:
- Answer incoming Technical Support calls
- Assess and meet customer needs; when needed, escalate customer call to the appropriate department for further action
- Troubleshoot company approved, service related problems with the customer
- Assist the customer in learning to use Suddenlink products and services
- Access customer databases and other reference materials to locate customer records, research customer issues and resolve customer issues
- Update customer records to document all calls, any action taken and required follow-up
- Work assigned schedule
Qualifi! cations:
- High school diploma or GED equivalen! t
- Computer skills (Windows, MAC and sending/receiving email)
- Typing skills
- Customer service and sales experience preferred
- Ability to work any assigned shift, Sunday- Saturday.
