Summary
The Sales Manager has responsibility for building corporate business, birthday parties and event sales for the Company. The Sales Manager manages center specific sales, event planning and marketing. They are also responsible for managing and directing a high performing event sales team .
Responsibilities
Achieve budgeted sales targets, revenue targets and payroll targets throughout the financial year
Makes effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities
Rec! eive successful results on secret shopper scores
Buil! d and leverage strong, lasting relationships with people inside and outside of the business
Recruit, hire, coach, train and continually develop of all the management and staff
Actively manages the sales department and outside sales manager
Attend weekly manager meetings and Sales Manager meetings
Book Corporate, Group, Birthday, Team Buildings, Lock-ins, and other special events
Complete Event Proposals and negotiate large events
Fundraising Coordination
Community Involvement
Ongoing Client Communication via mail, phone and email
Conduct Site Visits and Tours
Hold self and others accountable for measurable, high-quality, timely results.
Ability to expand job responsibilities, suggest improvements, and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes
Speaks clearly and effectively in a variety of settings
Is responsive and empathetic to guest ne! eds. Maintain guest focus while driving improvement and innovation
Recognize core competencies of the company and make decisions to protect the company
Represent the company in a professional manner when conducting business.
Capable of managing people and work. Skills include planning, developing policies, and delegation
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Possess and maintain a current knowledge of the Main Event facilities and activities; including the services and products for customer purchase
Management Experience
Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
Detail oriented with the capability to oversee all aspects of the business and multiple areas simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
Attention to detail, strong organizational ability; ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions
Professional ap! pearance
Have excellent customer service and employee relation! skills
A college degree or applicable work experience
Preferred Requirements
Sales Background; prefer Restaurant, Hotel, or Entertainment Industry
