Residential Manager

Description: Daybreak is employing Residential Manager right now, this position will be designated in Texas. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. Summary:
Manages performance of assigned group homes to ensure quality services are provided to Daybreak’s individuals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
Manage! s assigned group homes to ensure quality practices are in place.
Monitors documentation in assigned homes for consistency with the requirements of the Dept. of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) including residential notes, program plans, behavioral plans, positioning schedules, supervisory schedules.
Reviews incident and injury reports for accuracy and to ensure they meet all required timelines.
Diagnoses problems and initiates corrective action.
Supervises Home Coordinators in assigned group homes.
Oversees performance evaluations, corrective actions and other employee related issues.
Coaches and mentors employees for improved performance.
Suggests methods to improve efficiency.
Assists in assessing the training needs of employees.
Remains up-to-date on basic employment laws.
Participates on various quality teams responsible for maintaining total quality
and continuous improvement throughout the company.
Provides monthly r! eporting of issues in assigned group homes.
Residenti! al Team Member Development Form*
Should be completed by the Residential Manager one time per week, per home to assess each team member who works on the home.
This equates to a monthly assessment of each team member (4 staff per home). Estimated time: approximately 12-14 hours per week.
- Please consult with your Area Director about the need to visit foster care homes and the schedule required for your area. Some area offices may have a “Foster Care Coordinator' who is responsible for ensuring that the FC homes are a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for the individuals who live there.
Should be completed by the Residential Manager one time per month and should be completed when no team members or consumers are in the home.
Estimated time: approximately 2-2 1/2 hours per week.
Day Habilitation Site Visit Form
Residential Managers should conduct two (2) visit! s per month, per day habilitation site.
Visits should be scheduled between 9am-3pm, Monday â€" Friday.
Estimated time: approximately one (1) hour per week.
Performs all other duties as assigned by your manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises Home Coordinators in assigned group homes.
