Turning Point Community Church in Lubbock, Texas, is prayerfully seeking a Christ centered, high-energy, self-motivated, loving leader for our growing Children's Ministry. The! candidate for this full-time position should have previous Children's Ministry
experience (College Degree in Ministry or a related area is preferred but not required). Looking for somebody with a passion to serve and the skill set to take a strong, established program to the next level.

This position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the entire ministry to the children of Turning Point Community Church, ages birth through fourth grade. Position requires a heart for God, strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills,
and the ability to recruit, inspire, develop, and empower volunteers.

The Children’s Pastor will create and facilitate a loving, creative, fun, comprehensive, innovative, and biblically-based children's program for nursery through 4th grade.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all programming and ministry for children Infant â€" 4th grade, including Sunday mornings, Mid-week service, summ! er programming, special events, etc…
• Choose and pre! pare curriculum for each program and each age level.
• Create age appropriate EFFECTIVE, CREATIVE, FUN, and interactive environments, activities and programming for each age group that will facilitate learning and encourage spiritual growth.
• Recruit, train, schedule and lead teams of volunteers.
• Establishing caring relationships with all children and their families.
• Maintain a strategy for reaching and assimilating new children and families.
• Communicate consistently with parents as well as provide the tools they need for spiritual leadership.
• Effectively communicate to a variety of audiences, which can consist of pastoral staff, team members, church partners, volunteers, key community members, parents and kids.
• Plan and coordinate major Children’s Ministry events throughout the year.
• Managing day to day operations as discussed and developed with the senior/lead pastor.
• Provide care for children! and families within the church including hospital visits and follow-up.

• Should be a person who gives extreme attention to details with an eye for excellence.
• Should be a self-starter, good at multi-tasking and prioritizin! g projects.
• To create an irresistible environment that makes k! ids want to come back each week.
• Growing the children’s ministry spiritually and numerically.
• Supporting the lead pastor in the overall administration, and needs of the Church.
• Endorse and support the ministry of TPCC.
• Maintain personal spiritual development through Bible reading, prayer, and Christian community

Salary & Benefits Package: Range $35,000 - $45,000 plus benefits depending upon experience and qualifications.
