Job Description
The goal of Frito Lay's internship program is to provide students with the opportunity to leverage their academic understanding in a real-world, business-driven environment. During this internship experience, you will have exposure to leading team of 15 to 30 hourly (ADD FUNCTION: Maintenance, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Traffic, or SOPS) associates with varying levels of experience and education. At the end of the summer, our interns report out to the Plant or Region Leadership Team on the key business points learned from the internship experience.
Key Responsibilities
Motivate the team to achieve performance targets.
Assist in developing individuals and the team to solve operational issues.
Responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost, service and safety. Initiate, implement, and ensure sustainability of assigned projects
Communicate cross-functionally to assist te! am to solve operational issues
Motivate team members to achieve plan goals
Help solve daily operational issues
Conduct presentations and formal training programs
Improve team communication and engagement
Ability to think quickly, creatively and challenge team to do the same
Assist in developing team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short & long term performance goals
Assist in organizing and facilitating team meetings to achieve continuous improvement process.
Coach team members to use the process and facilitate problem solving on the floor.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree concentration preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field
Preferred schools are (Add schools if applicable and desired)
Ability to give/receive constructive feedback
High! drive for results and take initiative
Project management skil! ls
Ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly
Demonstrated ability to work in a results oriented, challenging environment
Strong leadership with the ability to get results through mentoring skills
Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
Minimum Qualifications
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree
Authorized to work in United States on a permanent basis
Must be 18 years of age or older
